Dramaturg and Writer

After completing a BA in Music with drama at Anglia Ruskin university, Caro gained her Masters at Central School of Speech and Drama specialising in dramaturgy.

In 2010 Caro moved to Chicago to work at the renowned Goodman theatre where she worked with Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Tom Hardy on the world premier of Brett C Leonard’s The Long Red Road as well as on productions of The Good Negro (Tracey Scott Wilson) and A True History of the Johnstown Flood (Rebecca Gilman).

Caro joined Writer’s Avenue as a reader upon her return to London and took on the role of Literary Manager in 2011.

Caro's success as a writer began with two monologues written for a Writer's Avenue Event 'Seven' at The Pleasance, Islington in 2012. Since then Caro has seen her work produced at the Soho Theatre, The Bush and Greenwich Theatre.
